A Most Perfect Ride with a Lunch to Boot
It was a foggy morning, as I was riding up to GTD I expected maybe a couple of Sandies. To my surprise, a couple of Rides were already there. JoeJoe I expected, was real surprised to see Sandy S and Mark S . Then up came Joe and Melanie W not a bad group, looking up for sure. We actually had 9 Sandies , will explain about the other Sandie. New Years Celebrated as only The Sandies can
Sunday is a great time to enjoy a meal in a place we haven’t been to in a long while. We leave GTD at 9 am, Ride the Sandie way ( sorta) to lunch. Reminder we have our very famous ride into the New Year this Wednesday. We meet at the Waffle House in Shalimar around 11:30 pm. If it’s cold we stall around and then leave. You can come in the car if the weather is terrible. The whole idea is to be on your Ride as the Clock strikes midnight. We have done this for over 40 year

Bobby ( Waldo) B also was a show. Bobby is always a welcome addition to a Sandie get together. His humor is a bit off kilter, fits perfectly with the Sandies. Mark S reminds me of the Uncle that shows up at Thanksgiving and watch’s all the football and in between bites yells at

Tim's Almost Last Ride
Hi There, Since Tim wasn’t able to make the official Last Ride of the Year to Stockton, AL on the 30th of Dec, Tim wanted to head to the Stagecoach Café on Sunday instead. I met up with Tim W, Joe W, Dennis O., and Greg L . at GTD to start this little adventure. When Joe W mentioned that we may get rain, I (Joejoe) quickly checked the weather radar and then decided to put on my wet riding gear. It was a good thing too, as it started raining lightly before we left Fort Walt
