New Years Celebrated as only The Sandies can

Sunday is a great time to enjoy a meal in a place we haven’t been to in a long while. We leave GTD at 9 am, Ride the Sandie way ( sorta) to lunch.

Reminder we have our very famous ride into the New Year this Wednesday. We meet at the Waffle House in Shalimar around 11:30 pm. If it’s cold we stall around and then leave. You can come in the car if the weather is terrible.

The whole idea is to be on your Ride as the Clock strikes midnight. We have done this for over 40 years and it does bring good luck for the Riders. Sides it’s a great non-alcohol way to ring in the New Year. Then New Years is the Pelican Plunge It’s going to be a bit chilly but what the hell its only a shock for a bit.
