In the interest of the participant's safety, any ride or event may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. The Sand Dollar Motorcycle Club strives to announce, at least six (6) hours before the scheduled start-time, if there is a cancellation due to adverse weather conditions. Except in cases of bona fide Force Majeure, cancellations shall be made by the Sand Dollar Motorcycle Club at its sole discretion. Notifications are typically disseminated through the website event calendar, but may vary based on who the designated ride lead is for the event. Be sure to check back here often, especially before leaving to go meet up for an event. SDMC Standard Ride Policy: - Helmets are mandatory - Alcohol is prohibited until the ride ends. It is highly suggested that all riders and passengers wear clothing appropriate for safe motorcycling. The Sand Dollar Motorcycle Club welcomes friends, family, and members of the public to join on most of rides. Guests are limited to no more than two rides with the club. A lot of work goes into planning and preparing for group rides. We are happy that so many people have enjoyed riding with us over the years. If you are participating in your third ride with the club as a guest, we ask that you join the club as a member. Join us and help make memorable rides for everyone to enjoy.
