First 8 Sandies did 165 miles to eat Breakfast and ride after. First we break in to our story with incredible News, STOP THE PRESSES, ATTENTION ALL THE SHIPS AT SEA. Tommy ( Five Wheels ) N has added a very pretty dark green 2023 Spyder to the stable with a pretty Gen 3 GL. I think you can figure out the five wheels reference, if not send me a PM.
Big news has been delivered, on with the adventure . Bobby B is not a nice person, let’s get that out of way. Bobby is the king of the double meaning smart ass remark. His sidekick Sandy S is a pot stirrer of the first order, Bobby’s remark to my comment on how long Sam and I had been married . “ Oh I was one year old when that happened “ . Now was that really necessary? Sandy certainly thought it was necessary that is. A special thank you to Mark S, Mark was Sheepdog today and thank you Mark. JoeJoe was keeping us very well informed on weather conditions, thank you Joe.
Now about breakfast, we had breakfast at Fannin’s north of DeFuniak Springs. It was outstanding and it was fun. One real nice waitress takes our order. When it comes time to service us our breakfast another lady delivered our food. She was standing holding plates and asked who had this. One of us spoke up “it’s mine”. Then another, she realized the meals were in order around the table. She exclaimed “Thank You Jesus” apparently the other lady is not known to put things in order. The two needed a cover and a two drink minimum, the routine was funny as all get out. It’s not often you get a stand-up comedy routine along with a great breakfast. It was a great breakfast experience, ya got to try Fannin’s it is well worth the trip.
We left from there and rode some outstanding roads to include a Detour that became a super neat road. You have no idea how hard it was for me to take the detour. I sure wanted to go past the road closed sign but cooler heads prevailed.
It was a great ride, food and roads were great, company wasn’t bad either.
