Jim Morrison aka Da Duke

I have no idea how long Jim was a Sand Dollar. He is credited with 54,017 miles with the club, which indicated he was around for a long time. By the time I joined the club, Jim rarely rode with us. However, he was all smiles when he bought the first electric bike in the club. The range was limited, but he did go out for a handful of our shorter rides with us. Jim didn't miss a business meeting or club event. He was behind the scenes helping in any way that he could. He put together our Newsletters and kept track of all the tiny details we would forget.

I never knew if he saw us when the club gathered outside of his hospital window on our bikes, but I really hope he at least heard people in the hospital talking about it. I know he would of smiled if he did.
